I have received the hardware. How do I start using it?
You will need to send an email request to
support@track24solo.com to activate the device. Please ensure that you send the email from your registered email address. You can refer to the Quick Start Guide or the Packmaster Lo-Pro Product Manual available on your starter CD for instructions on how to get started.
How do I switch the device On/ Off?
Press and hold

button on the PackMaster Lo-Pro device for 3-4 seconds to turn the device on/off. Press and hold the

button down for 2 seconds to put the device into sleep mode.
How do I Enable/Disable Tracking Mode?
Press

button and use the scrolling up/down arrows to select the "Tracking On/ off" menu. Then press

and select "Enable" or "Disable” tracking" according to the need.
How do I Set/Change the reporting interval?
1. Press

and navigate to “Unit settings”.
2. Press

and navigate to “Reporting Rate”.
3. Press

and select the reporting rate of your choice.
How do I send a panic alert?
A panic alert can be triggered by sliding the guard and pressing the (+) button for 2-3 seconds. In panic mode the device transmits a panic message every 2 minutes until the alert state is reset from the device or the Solo Viewer.
How do I reset a panic alarm?
Panic Alarm can be reset from the PackMaster Lo-Pro device as well as from the Solo Viewer.
To reset from the device:
1. Press

and navigate to the Utilities.
2. Press

and use the option Cancel Emergency and then select “Yes”.
To reset panic alarm from the Solo Viewer the device must be switched on:
1. Click on the “Panic Alarm” box (in red) on the alarms bar at the bottom of the page.
2. Click on “Acknowledge”. This turns the colour of the box to yellow. Now click “reset”. This sends a command to the Packmaster Lo-Pro and resets it’s panic mode.
You may also click on “reset” directly without clicking “acknowledge” to reset the alarm.
How do I send a text message?
1. Press

and navigate to “Messaging”.
2. Select “Compose” and then select either “Choose Canned Msg (Pre-Defined Messages)” or “Enter Text”.
2a. If you have chosen to send a canned message, then select the message from the list then press “select” again.
2b. If you have chosen to enter text manually, then type out the text using the keypad on the screen and then press “Done”.
3. Now select “next”. This will show you the contact to which the message is being sent to. The default is “C4i Platform Emails” and cannot be changed.
4. Now select “next” again. This will show you a summary of the message.
5. Press “send”.

If tracking mode is disabled can I still send text and panic messages?
Yes, you will be able to send panic alarms and text messages even if the tracking mode is disabled. However the device will not transmit any GPS position reports.
Can I send a text message directly to a mobile/satellite phone?
No, at present you will only be able to send and receive messages to/from the Solo Viewer.
How do I know whether the unit is connected to the Iridium network?
You can do this by checking the following icon statuses on the LCD screen:

indicates that the Iridium transceiver is on with real-time signal strength represented by the number of vertical bars. The signal strength can range from the lowest of zero to the highest of five bars.

Indicates that the Iridium transceiver is off.
Where can I see the last position report sent from the unit?
You can view this on the home screen of the Packmaster Lo-Pro device. The home screen displays the date, time, GPS information, altitude and speed when the last report was sent.
Can I use the Packmaster Lo-Pro to track my vehicle?
Yes, you can purchase the vehicle kit with the Packmaster Lo-Pro from our website. The vehicle kit contains an external iridium antenna that can be attached to the Packmaster Lo-Pro and placed on the roof of a car to provide vehicle tracking capability. The kit also comes with a 12v vehicle charger and a vehicle dash mount.
How do I connect the external antenna to the unit?
After ensuring that the unit is switched off, unscrew the attached iridium antenna and insert the external Iridium antenna into the slot which is provided on the top of the PackMaster Lo-Pro Unit.
How do I charge the battery and how long does it take to be fully charged?
The PackMaster Lo-Pro can either be charged using a mains power supply or a USB-mini USB cable. The 13 Amps mains power supply or the USB 2.0 port can be used to recharge the battery and it takes approximately 5 hours.
How do I change the Date/Time on the PackMaster Lo-Pro?
1. Press

and navigate to the "Unit Settings".

and select "Date format", "Time format" and "Time Zone" and change accordingly.
How can I access the IMEI Number and the Firmware version of the device?

What should I do if my hardware is lost or stolen?
You should immediately inform us by sending us an email on
support@track24solo.com . We will then block the device from unauthorised use. Our support personnel will contact you to provide you information on what to do next.
How do I purchase additional accessories?

How quickly will the Solo Viewer receive an alert once I press the panic button?
This will typically take 45 seconds to 3 minutes depending on various factors.
How many messages can be stored in the Inbox of PackMaster Lo-Pro?
690 messages can be stored in the inbox of PackMaster Lo-Pro.
What is the battery life for the PackMaster Lo-Pro?
When the PackMaster Lo-Pro is fully charged the battery powers it to send 1600 position reports, which is roughly more than a month at the reporting rate of 30 minutes.
Can I track more than one hardware unit on the same platform?
No, Track24 Solo provides the capability to track only a single hardware device. However, if you wish to track more than one hardware device on the same platform you can purchase or upgrade to the Enterprise edition. For further information, log on to

I have received a poll request in my inbox. How do I respond?
Poll request is sent from the Solo Viewer to get the GPS location of your device. This is used usually when you have set the Packmaster Lo-Pro to an infrequent reporting rate or disabled tracking. To respond to the request:
1. Press

and select the “Messaging” tab and then select “Inbox”.
2. Open the message with the poll request. Now select “options” and then select “reply”.
3. Now select “next”, “next” again and “send”.
This will send a position report to the Solo Viewer.

Do you have warranty on your hardware?
Yes, we do provide one year warranty on the hardware.
Why do the LED lights flash even when the device appears to be switched off?
If the LED lights flash once every three seconds then the device is in sleep mode and is not actually switched off.
What do the 3 LED's on the device denote?

Power
A flashing Power LED indicates that the unit is in sleep mode. It also flashes when the unit is low on battery.

Message
A flashing Message LED indicates that there are unread messages in the inbox.

Emergency status
A flashing Emergency
